John Fenton was the person who went to talk with the woman who assisted Mikhailevic and asked her for help with the pain from his accident and she has now assisted him with his suicide.

He was hospitalized and in pain for months. I think he seemed like he had been hypnotized which leads me to think Dr. Austin is picking out people she thinks would be better off dead.

>2 EadieB: >3 Olivermagnus: I have to agree with you both and it certainly strengthens the case for Dr. Austin being our killer or at least the person choosing the victims. Maybe she picks them out and Jenny kills them. I wonder...based on my assumption...what criteria did Dr. Austin base John wanting to die on? Life wouldn't have been the same and he had been in a great deal of pain... but it did seem that he was recovering slowly and was even stating to ride his bike again. I didn't think that exactly sounded like "I want to end it all." Perhaps sometime right after the accident he had expressed this to her and she based his dying on that statement. Did Jenny ever care for John after his accident???

>4 Carol420: I agree, Carol, John's life seemed to be back on track, and I don't think he'd have been in a place to fix PC Stephen's bike if he'd been in such pain all the time. I think the constant pain was a result of hypnotic suggestion too.
