I ask because I'm luckky enough to be one of the Brits getting a book this time round (I didn't really think I stood even half a chance!), and will be receiving Boy A by Jonathan Trigell. Naturally, I'm excited as all hell - it's like getting an extra Xmas prezzie!

Anyone else been lucky enough to snag an LT Early Review book, whether this time round or previously?

I got one in July and August; then I got nixed in Oct. and Nov.; didn't do Sept. b/c they didn't look good.

To be honest as fun as it is to get a free book -- I haven't been all that impressed with the quality of the novels (the writing, I mean) Is it possible these are rather less than stellar offerings and the publishers are just hoping to get a littlle buzz going?

Mine ain't arrived yet, and British post during December being what it is, I don't expect I'll get it before Xmas, to be honest. But when I do, I'll let you know what I think of it. :)

I think that's from the publisher that's driving us mad. Our apologies.

I figured it wasn't you guys' fault. :)

I know, atrocious grammar. I needed an excuse to use the word "atrocious."

Mr Dustin, you know he could if he wanted to. ;-)

Have you tried flattery? Bribery? Extortion?

Hey man, I recently *bought* Away, at full price, for my wife.

Clearly, flattery, bribery and extortion don't work. You'll have to think of something else, Mr Dustin.

Well I dunno, I just tried yelling at him, and that doesn't seem to of worked, so I guess all I can do is ask and hope the "algorithms" deem me worthy of a book.

"Algorithms", may I have a book? Please?
