I know it is preaching to the perverted but she wants thgis message propagated:

BE IT KNOWN: BEARLIB.COM is a pirate site. Their offerings of my books are ripoffs and copyright violations, and defraud me and the publishers. Profit is going to a company in China. Share this on and do not patronize this site. Information may want to be free, but groceries are NOT, and a writer needs your support.
Share this, please, with anyone who cares about the survival of books and literacy!

Good to know

but -- do you REALLY mean "preaching to the perverted"?
It may be true for some of us, but doesn't seem a great way to promote your message.....

>2 rshart3: I think she just meant that a fair number of us are already "converted" enough to C.J. Cherryh's works that we might have already read the original appeal on her own site, or at least wouldn't consider obtaining her books from possibly cheap but dubious sources ^^

Keep it under your hat, but James Tiptree, Jr. is really a woman.

Oops, I've said too much.
