Leslie Cochran died early this morning. They were talking about him on K-UT before noon, and I happened to have the radio on in my truck.
I was missing him already; seen him only once since that problem he had in late '09 that sent him to the hospital. I've had a chance to talk with him on at least half a dozen occasions, and each time was a pleasant experience. As off-beat as he was, he was a very nice guy. Austin, sadly, is less weird than it had been.
