Marley, an oversized cannonball of doggy distruction, terrorized the Grogan household for 13 years. Destroying, swallowing, chewing, and stealing daily, he became a predictable pet for the family. At one point, he almost got banished from the house. Yet, the family loved him with all of their hearts. What do you think was most important about Marley and how can you relate this to a family pet you have had?

Let's see, well I had a golden retriever named Angie who became really annoying when she tore up the coach cushions, and ate food on the table as well. Although, she only did this as a puppy when she thought we weren't looking.

For me, a family pet brings everyone closer. My black lab puppy Oakley shredded my carpet one day when she broke out of her kennel. It was a mess, everywhere in my room. She destroyed my bed by pulling off all the blankets. She does not like to be left home alone. After this, I had to reinforce her kennel with zip ties and steel wire. She hasent escaped since.
