(pgs 1-103)

Harry, ever since his parents died when he was a baby, has been living with his aunt Petunia, his uncle Vernon, and his cousin Dudley. And they treat him like crap. He is either always doing chores or is up in his room. Harry is a wizard, and last year was the first year that he went to Hogwarts, the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Ever since he got back from Hogwarts, the Dursleys have had all of his school supplies locked in the closet that used to be his bedroom, and Hedwig (Harry's owl) locked in her cage.

I think that this goes along with how some people treat their children and nephews/nieces very badly.

Then, Dobby came. He came to warn Harry about something that was going to happen at Hogwarts and to try to make him not go. Dobby was also keeping Harry's letters from him.

This reminds me of how people hold other people back from what they want to do.

The Weasley boys came to rescue Harry, in their dads flying car. When they got back to the Burrow, Mrs. Weasley was extremely mad at and disappointed in her sons. So she made them de-gnome the garden.

In this case, the gnomes where alive, and very vicious.

After they got rid of all of the gnomes, it was time for breakfast. And Mr. Weasley got home. But to his wife's surprise, he wasn't mad at them. When it was time to go and get school supplies for the year, they used Floo powder to go to Diagon Alley. But Harry, accidentally of course, ended up in Knockturn Alley, where a lot of the shops were of dark magic. And he saw the person he hated most, Draco Malfoy with his father. Hagrid found Harry wandering around in the Alley, and led him to Diagon Alley, where he met up with Hermione and the Weasley boys.

When they went to Flourish and Blotts to get their books, there was an unexpected crowd. And that is when they saw the sign that said " Gilderoy Lockhart will be signing copies of his autobiography Magical Me today 12:30P.M. to 4:30P.M."
And Harry was spotted by Gilderoy himself and gave him three free sets of the books that he needed for his class, Defense Against the Dark Arts.

And also, Ron and Harry missed the train to Hogwarts, so they had to drive the flying car, and the were spotted. When the car went over the Hogwarts perimeter fence, the engine died and they ended up hitting a tree that hit them back, the Whomping Willow. But they were still surprisingly not expelled, but got detention.

Gilderoy Lockhart was not a very good teacher on the first day of school, and Ron broke his wand.

So, if you were in Harry's situation, what would you do if Dobby wouldn't let you go to Hogwarts for your second year of school? By the way, this movie is awesome too.

I didn't care for the book because it was unrealistic, magic is not real. The movies were alright.

Gilderoy Lockhart is gloating about his books again. Then he had his class handle pixies. Quidditch practice started again, and earlier. Ron tried to cast a spell on Malfoy and ended up get the spell cast on him because his wand is broken. Ron and Harry got detention, so Ron had to polish all of the trophies in the trophy case and Harry had to help Lockhart. He had Harry putting addresses on thousands of letters.

Nearly headless nick was sad because he didn't get into the headless hunt.

It turned out the Filch was a Quib, a Quib is a child that was born by wizards and witches and doesn't have any powers

Harry, Ron, and Hermione went to Nearly Headless Nick's death-day party. It was extremely cold down there and all of the food was rotten. The Headless hunt party showed up and made fun of Nick. When they left, Ron could've sworn that he walked through someone.

During the Quidditch match, a Bludger was chasing him and broke his arm. Lockhart tried to fix it and ended up taking all of the bones out of his arm. Madam Pomfrey had to have Harry drink a nasty potion to grow his bones back.

Colin Creevey was petrified. Everyone was starting to get worried. Snape and Lockhart started a dueling club. People were talking about how they think that Harry opened the chamber and petrified Colin.

pgs 201-300

Justin Finch-Fletchley and Nearly Headless Nick had been petrified. More people started to think that Harry was the one that opened the Chamber of Secrets and was petrifying everyone. Peeves was trying to make everyone think that it was Harry also. Hagrid told Dumbledore that Harry wasn't the one petrifying everyone, and Dumbledore already knew.

Harry still Thought that Malfoy was the Heir of Slytherin and that he opened the Chamber. The Polyjuice Potion was ready and all that they needed was some hair from the people that the were changing into. And it turned out that Malfoy wasn't the culprit. He was actually trying to find that out himself. Mr. Weasley was almost fired because they searched his home and found all of the muggle items.

Myrtles bathroom was flooded and she was in the stall crying. Harry found a diary and slipped it into his pocket.

Later that night, he snuck out of the Griffindor common room up to his room quarters and started to write in the diary. When he was done writing, his words disappeared so he wrote them again and the same thing happened. Then writing appeared, and Harry replied back. It turned out to be Tom Riddles diary and Harry was literally pulled into the book. Tom showed him what Hogwarts was like when he was still there and something else that Harry couldn't really see that well.

Hagrid was brought to Askaban and Dumbledore was also, but only until they found out who was opening the Chamber.

Hermione was petrified along with another girl. That is five people now.

Harry and Ron went into the Forbidden Forest and were almost eaten by ginormous spiders.

Lockhart was ready to leave and then Harry made him go and find the Chamber with him.

pgs 301-end

Harry, Ron, and Lockhart found the Chamber. Harry spoke Parseltounge to get into the entrance down to it. Lockhart tried to cast a spell on the boys but it backfired because he used Ron's broken wand. The ceiling fell in and Harry went on alone.

Harry found the actual entrance and opened it. When he stepped in he squinted his eyes to a point in which he could just barely see just in case the basalisk were to show up. He saw Ginny almost dead at the end of the tunnel and ran to her. Tom tried to kill Harry and then called the Basalisk. Fawkes the phoenix showed up with the sorting hat. Later when the Basalisk was chasing and trying to kill Harry, Fawkes clawed its eyes out and a sword showed up. Harry killed the basalisk but got one of its fangs in his arm. He walked up to Riddle's diary and stabbed it with the fang which killed Tom and brought Ginny back to life.
