Lisa Harrison-
pages 1-100

This is another one of the really good books in the Clique Series. This time, the clique is back from their trip to Lake Placid. They are all back together again. Cam and Claire are still together, but Derrick has broken up with Massie because of the kissing delima.
Massie has gotten a modeling job along with Claire. They are both excited and accept the jobs. Massie never worries about Claire coming close to outstaging her, but it is all changing. The two girls have the time of their lives on their trip to L.A. for their jobs.
The girls are fighting for this part, however, it is the part where they would have to be a loser. Surprisingly, Claire gets the job. Massie and Alicia are terribly jelous and plan to do some horrible things to Claire with their small side jobs that they got as "behind the scene reporters." This is when the book really started to get interesting.
As far as the American Dream, Claire so far is living it up. However, Alicia and Massie feel their world is crashing and can't wait to ruin Claire's job, secretly of course.

If they are Claires friends they should be happy that she got the job, not try and wreck her career.
