I want a dead-simple online calendar.
For years I've been using "Pando Calendar" (link), a wonderful litle Mac application. I think I'm going to give up on it, however, because I've lost all my data three times in a row now. Rather than try to back up, I'd rather put it in the cloud. After all, my code, my email and much of my other work is all-online now. Why not my calendar?
The trick is, I *hate* conventional calendar software. Pando Calendar's genius is its complete simplicity. Every day is a free text box and NOTHING more. There are no "events" with drop-downs for time and etc. If you want to put a time in, your type it in, eg.
morning - call that business guy
3:00 haberdasher
7:00 umbrella fitting
Google comes the closest—you can *almost* just type it. But each event is separate, and only one "line" is shown in the month view. Blech. I hate fiddly stuff. My life isn't fiddly. I have no "meetings." Occasionally I have to remember to call someone, or when I'm gone for a talk. That's it.
Does anyone know of an absurdly simple calendar web ap.?
