This group "Holy Spirit Studies 2011" is a Library Thing Group that is dedicated to exploring theologies of the Holy Spirit. The theme for study was encouraged by a comment Phyllis Tickle made at the Wild Goose Festival about this new generation being the "age of the holy spirit". New forms of authority will be negotiated and co-discovered during this age but we need to keep the "ancient wisdom" and the "contemporary discernment" in balance... Hence this resource groups honors the ancient and the contemporary voices.
The beginning list of 30 authors was largely culled from the Guides to Theology series book "The Holy Spirit" by Schults and Hollingsworth (Eerdrmans).
