This book is consited of five Scotland stories.In a small town somewhere a pigeon dies. This pigngenou is badly diying!! n Edinburgh, a detective listens to a confession.In Orkney,an old man lives with the ghosts of his past and so on.
I was impressed to read first story most. Maybe Anyusha wanted to see a pignon. I hope it would spend a good life. Also,I realized that this book make me think about phenomenon in the world. ( )

This book has five short stories. The first story is about a man and a pigeon which is nearly dead. The second story is about drover of a river and the third is about a old man and his past. The fourth one is about crime and the last one is about a girl who loves the actor.
My favorite story is the first one and the last one. In the first story, I felt the man's wife a little cold at first. But finally, I found her a good parter for the man. And in the last story, I envy the girl! I want to do what she did. ( )

Jan has found a sick bird,a pigeon.
It cannot fly and is very weak and it will probably die.
Jan married Ella, but he had loved another girl called Anyusha when he was young.
I was very sad when I finishied reading this story.
This book did't tell me how Anyusha was killed.
But maybe she was so sad and wanted to see Jan.
I want Jan to think a happy life because he has his good family now. ( )
