I have a fairly broad taste in books. I, of course, have some genres I like more than others, but ultimately I'll read anything that looks good to me. My reading focuses are British classics from 1750-1850, historical fiction - any is ok but I usually choose 1100ish-1680ish Academic history on a variety of subjects and time periods. Biography - generally women from before 1900. Childrens literature - mostly fantasy (how much children's literature isn't fantastical?).

I am an opera singer. I like the domestic arts (cooking, gardening, sewing, decorating, decorative sewing, refinishing furniture, upostery, etc.). Oh, and I like to read.....
