(1), by having cake and dancing (1), and over-doing the good times in this very old ballad. You see something new everytime you look at this book. (1), Anthropomorphic depiction of a little country house who soon finds herself amid the encroaching (1), bustling city. Burton's illustrations of the city slowly creeping up on the little house deftly handles the inevitable decline and sadness of the little house as she was left to languish with out those who loved her. I can see why Ms Burton's book on trol (1), Bruce Whatley's illustrations make the wombat an approachable and humorous subject. As the wombat encroaches on the human's habitat the illustrations fill up the page and immerse us in wombat's hard life of eating carrots (1), fighting with doormats (1), My favorite book from 3rd grade. This book was such a comfort to me as my parents were divorcing and I was uprooted for the first time (1), Love Dorros' colors and folkloric illustrations. Introduces art and customs to smaller children through the familiar idea of 'Grandma.'
