When I was younger, I read only certain genres - started with mystery, moved to science fiction and then on to fantasy. At the time I didn't really care about quality, just subject matter. Now I tend to read more by author, and the depth of the world and characters being depicted.

The books listed here are from my personal collection, which dates back to when I was seven or so. I purge occasionally, since shelf space is pretty limited at the moment, but usually by donating to the local library. Very few books deserve to be thrown out.

I have had my head in a book for most of my life, and will probably keep it there until I die. Partially because of this, I went to a college where we read and talked about lots of books no one else looks at any more. It was loads of fun. I hope to get my MLS at some point and work as cataloger.
