Sometimes I fall in love with the idea of being well-read. Some immature part of me wants to read all of the books and seem educated on all of the things. I occasionally read books for the boasting rights.

Despite all theses errors I love reading and learning new things.

I am learning Russian, and as such I am interested in Russian literature and culture. I love Pushkin and Akhmatova. I'm still reading through War and Peace.

I love art, art history, and aesthetic philosophy in general.

I still enjoy picture books and children's literature. I love being able to recommend these books to my young friends. Gary Schmidt is splendid, and I'm quite fond of Tolkien.
