Our library consists of books kindly donated by members. We encourage any and all members to take advantage of the collection by borrowing books that appeal to you.

If you'd like to donate to our collection, please put the books in the office so that we can catalog them before adding them to the shelves. Thank you.

The SML Democrats provides opportunities for our club members to participate in the political process, learn about current issues and join social events.

The Smith Mountain Lake Democrats is a diverse club of like-minded people that provides opportunities for Democrats and Independents to come together.

We encourage participation in the political process in support of candidates and issues congruent with democratic ideals.

We educate our members and the community on local, state and national issues.

We highlight community issues that have an effect on quality of life in the communities surrounding Smith Mountain Lake.
