Originally from Maine, I've been a New Yorker for five years now. I've always loved books, starting right from the beginning when my mom read to me. It's been love ever since.

Choosing a career in publishing helped to feed my craving to be surrounded by books. Having started my publishing career at Scholastic, I am now with the Random House Library Marketing Department. Stop by to visit with us at the many librarian conferences we attend each year. It's been through my interactions with librarians that I have decided to become one myself.

I'm currently attending the Pratt Institute for my MLS degree. I'm excited to be a children's librarian someday. There's nothing more important or rewarding than helping to foster a love of reading for kids.
