Former Professor at the Department of Sociology of the University of Geneva and former Professor of Psychology at the University of Fribourg. Collaborator of Piaget at the Geneva Center of Epistemology, founder and first editor of New Ideas in Psychology, my main interests deal with linking psychology and sociology, particularly in the fields of identity, interpersonal communication and interaction, organizational and institutional processes. I have been Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Minnesota, Visiting Professor at the University of Montreal, and Visiting Professor at the University of Columbia, New York.
