- I am a HUGE musical fan- Wicked, The Phanton of the Opera, Spamalot, Jekyll and Hyde, Les Miserables, Into the Woods, Jersey Boys, Hairspray and The Producers are just a few of my FAVORITE musicals- and that is why my library has such strange books. They are out of my two all time favorite musicals- Wicked and Phantom of the Opera (and Jekyll and Hyde). I am a devoted and loyal WICKED and PHANTOM OF THE OPERA FAN!! And NO- I do not care for the Phantom of the Opera movie at all. Only the stage production (with Michael Crawford) is the one I will see. No, I am not one of those people that have memorized the movie. I saw the ACTUAL THING! Not that the movie is bad...it just doesn't can't even compete with the Broadway production.
