La mia biblioteca: I am currently only adding books I've read, though I don't own all of them. The library is my friend and often lends me things I'm desperate to read but don't want to purchase without reading. Being in two different book clubs has helped me broaden my horizons a bit on what I read, though I tend to gravitate toward realistic fiction, contemporary fiction, women authors, male memoirists, and the classics I missed in high school. My goal is to read a non-fiction title for every fiction title I read, but that seems harder to do than I expected. I need to remember to make a wish list!
Informazione su di me: Hello! My library is filled with books I have yet to read because I tend to pick up new (or new to me) books whenever I can, which is probably too often. I am a military wife and mother of two, with a masters in library and information science... read "Librarian." Currently I don't have a library to call my home, so I work as a substitute teacher at the local American high school. I live in Germany for now, but will be relocating soon. In addition to reading, I love to write and edit/critique creative writing projects. Baking, traveling, knitting, eating good food and fine wine are all part of what I consider a well-balanced life. I look for depth in books and people, appreciating those things that stand out and make each a unique experience. In general, I enjoy the complexities of existence and look forward to the adventures life offers.
