What I thought I knew . . . I didn't. Subjects are covered in two-page articles. Packs a whallop. Don't read if you are insecure about your religious beliefs, because this will challenge everything you think you know. I say that as a religious person. Good challenge.
Life changing. I just had no idea what I was walking into. This book is written in a deceptively simple format--but the information is beyond anything I had ever read. Simple--but deep. If that makes sense.
I loved this book -- the author has an amazing skill of putting together an intellectually challenging book through a controversial biblical interpretation, a wordly and valuable self-help content regarding the relationship of marriage, all spiced up with a series of anecdotes from the ancient history and the modern culture. A very talented word master, the book is full of quotable quotes that you want to memorize and place on your desktop.
