Since the mid-eighties, at the latest, the Austrian, Franz West (*1947) has ranked as one of the outstanding personalities of the international art scene. Under the title “Appartement“, the publication shows a number of older and newer works. Various room situations, not unlike spacious, semi-furnished living rooms, correspond with the diverse functions of Franz West's art.
