Karen Yochim

I plucked this one off Amazon solely for the Louisiana setting, but the story isn't bad either. The detective leading the investigation, Mitch Lanclos, could have done with a bit more fleshing out, and I thought the 'whydunit' was a bit weak, but I loved the slow build up, getting to know the local community (and, of course, the sights and sounds of the bayou!)
