Three couples spontaneously decide to play strip poker. Shenanigans ensue.

At 98 pages, this is long for what would ordinarily constitute a "stroke story". I enjoy Kenny's writing, and he nicely captures the narrator's doubts and anticipation, but the story suffered a little for me because I didn't like Ben, and this story is all about him. We get his take on what all six people are doing but minimal feedback on their feelings. This author usually gives more insight into other characters' mindsets. The whole book covering one night may afford less opportunity for debriefing between Ben and his wife Amy, in whose experiences I was far more invested.

The poker played here is of the Texas Hold-Em variety. I have an elementary grasp of vanilla poker - having never played, strip or otherwise - and I found the author's explanation of the rules sufficient to follow the proceedings.

If you enjoy stories about committed couples cutting loose and breaking boundaries to explore fantasies, then this is an enjoyable read.

Closing with a quote from the author's afterword/acknowledgements...

"special thanks to Matt Damon, John Dahl, Norman Chad, and Chris Moneymaker (bet you guys never thought you’d be thanked at the end of erotica)."

It is Jason's 25th birthday. He and his wife plan a huge party and invite a bunch of friends, but due to a downturn in the weather, only three guests turn up - Jason's two best friends from school. Paul brings his girlfriend, while Casey has come without her boyfriend.

And so the five friends sit and drink, play party games, drink and tell stories of their exploits in college, and drink and share unfulfilled sexual fantasies, at which point they decide it would be a lark to fulfil those fantasies.

Cue lots of sex in various combinations, usually with non-participants watching. There is (unfortunately, in my opinion) no sexual contact between the two guys. Egos get bruised, and jealousy happens, but good friends can overcome such things in erotic romance novels if not in real life.

So. Read this book for lots of enthusiastic delicious sex being had by a gorgeous cast of likeable characters who lead fulfilling, worry-free lives. I can think of few better places to escape to.

First things first. This was written by a man but I would never guess this. This story was raw and real and the descriptions were amazing. Paul and Brandon wanted Mrs. Mitchell so the day they helped her move they helped her move on with her life. This book was descriptive and rawI do not rate many short stories as 5 stars but I will this one. Great job Kenny Wright. Excellent Read.

Okay first off the MC is a complete B**** who is rude and judgemental. And just the sentence "She had been with her husband a while but never strayed" made me hate her even more.

But although this B**** is crazy and possibly stupid I still like her and the story. Holy moly she isn't the B**** I thought she was.. Cool Story Great Ending and I love the surprise in the story. I love it when an author can shock me in such a little amount of time.

While at the strip club as they are watching the dancers, their waitress show up to take their order. As Andy is ordering is drink he notices that the waitress looks familiar to him. He realizes that it is this ex-teacher, Hayley, as of two weeks ago when he graduated. They are both shocked to see each other there. At first, the night is a little shaky with them but as the night goes on they become more comfortable with each other. It also doesn't help that the bartender, which happens to be Hayley best friend keep tell her that she should for it with Andy. At the end of her shift, Hayley brings him one last drink and note written on the napkin. By the end of the night, Hayley taught Andy more than she thought she would.

This is an Amazon freebie.

This is an erotica short coming in @ 2o pages.

This is a fun little erotic about a big shot female lawyer, who gets picked up by this mysterious man at the bar. He thinks she's taller than on tv, then he notices the heels. It was the best $800 she had ever spent. He does her right, all night long. Then the next day, they both have questions and want more.

Really 4.5 Stars

Original review up at http://scorchingbookreviews.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/a-nix-review-of-male-erotica-...

Cara has always wanted to watch her boyfriend Nick have sex with her best friend, Elise. When Nick wins a date with Elise in a charity auction, on the instructions of Cara, she sees this as an opportunity to set up her fantasy. Elise is a very attractive woman; it doesn’t take much to convince Nick that her fantasy could become a reality. When she starts to mention Elise in her dirty talk in the bedroom, it becomes clear that Nick is as up for it as she is. Well, he is in the land of make-believe because he realises that if they make it a reality it could change the relationship he values for just one night of pleasure.

Convincing Nick is one problem she feels she can overcome. Convincing her best-friend is another. Can she coerce the two people she loves the most to do this and will it be worth it in the end?

This is Erotica for men written by a man. Kenny and I have had many conversations, when I first started to get review requests for the EC for men line, over what Erotica for men should look like. Let’s be honest, I am missing a particular appendage that makes my opinion on the matter not incredibly relevant J Do I recommend that men buy this novella? Do I think women should load up their men’s kindle with this type of Erotica? In a word, YES! This is a well written story that even managed to make me hot and it wasn’t even aimed at my gender!

There are obvious differences in this to erotica for women. At no point did I see the size/girth of Nicks penis mentioned. I did, however, get quite a bit of description of the women but without any flowery euphemisms. I got a lot of positions, but with less thoughts/feelings/laboured descriptive terms. It was refreshing. The storyline was straight out of a man’s fantasy land; we have a male being given permission to have sex with his girlfriends hot best friend, then some lesbian sex and to finish it all we have a F/MF threesome. It’s fun.

There was character development over the length of the novella and all characters were well fleshed out for a tale this size. Elise was probably the vaguest of all the characters but this wasn’t her tale; this was the tale of Nick and Cara and them accepting each other warts, kinks and all!

This is what I imagine Erotica for men to look like. I can’t comment on the effectiveness of it in arousing men, but I thought the tale was hot and was very well written. It’s something that’s definitely worth a try.

Not an erotic romance, but a nice little friends-to-lovers story. I mostly end up reading romances set in the US, so a nice change!

Morgan|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1316689662p2/5222742.jpg] but I think it gives us a glimpse of one of the new hopes in contemporary romance genre. Her writing style maybe needs a little bit more styling, but she has a great sense of humor and she managed to make old topic seem new and fresh.

Bailey got dumped by her boyfriend. So is it that surprising that gnomes of self-pity came riding on owls of despair? Nope. But fortunately she has three great friends to help her get over her good-for-nothing boyfriend. She tries to listen to them and repeats: 'I am not a gnome of self pity. I'm an imp of pure ass-kickery. A fuck-yeah fairy.' The question is - will the mantra work?
The answer is yes. '...discovering that one of your best friends has been in love with you for his adult life is enough to send the gnomes of self pity packing. They didn't even have time to mount their owls.'

Clocking in somewhere between a short story and a novella, this vignette started strong then fizzled out. The narrator's voice is wicked and funny and oozes youthfulness, but the story was incomplete and unsatisfying. The characters also use a lot of language in the "casual bigotry" category - referring to large pumps as being in "tranny sizes," calling things "retarded," and so on - which mirrors how most 24 year olds speak to each other, but some readers might want to give it a wide berth because of it.

This story was adorable. Really short, no drama whatsoever, just one girl being consoled by her three best friends after her boyfriend dumps her. A group of friends that happen to be a rambunctious group of guys. It's shorter than a novella so you can read it in less than an hour. The heroine has pet rats, the romance is cute, the bromance even cuter and the sex hot. It's also free on Smashwords, Amazon and I assume the other e-retailers. I hope all the guys get their own story.

Cute. Well written novella in that there were no info dumps. Lots of background delivered organically.

Low score is for use of derogatory terms that I am uncomfortable reading, and they were in large volumes.
I think with minimum effort she could have come up with adorable derogatory terms (she did it quite often) that didn't use offensively stereotypical terms.

Not interested in the follow-up books.

This was really really cute. But there was something missing...

This is a really sweet "friends to lovers" trope romance. I love "friends to lovers" so my issue is certainly not the trope. In thinking about this novella, I think my biggest issue is how quickly Linc and Bailey started having sex.

Bailey and her boyfriend broke up one week or so before she and Linc hooked up. In fact, now that I think about it, it wasn't the sex it was how the sex happened. Bailey came over to Linc's house to hang out...and walks into a romantic candle-lit set up. Really cute but there was no indication (from either character) that there was ever any interest. So that part felt rushed and weird.

Everything other than that was very sweet and cute.
