A nice, simple, visual overview of the life cycle of butterflies. There is minimal text. The illustrations are black and white with color under the flaps. There are several flaps on each page, ranging from postage stamp size to one that covers nearly half the page. My only concern is that for younger readers, it may be difficult to find all the flaps.
