Jade takes it upon herself to look after her younger sister, Kia, which destructive-happy king and queen are leading humanity to its doom. There are a lot of pronouns used, it's difficult to know which character is referred to as 'she' and 'her' when there are two or more female characters. It therefore makes it difficult to follow Jade's journey searching for Kia when there are bursts of amnesia. The story has a The Snow Queen and Alice in Wonderland crossover feel with a very family-orientated theme.

Then the second half of the book takes on a different spin as Victor goes on a mission and Ariana attempts to find him. The writing is extremely young and introduces a lot of characters further into the story.

I found this story while on Twitter one afternoon and I'm glad I bought it. It's a lovely short story and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. When Damon, an angel from Heaven and Saynt, a demon from Hell find themselves on the shoulders of Joe, a most boring man, they wonder why? When you read this story you will be enlightened and I recommend you do. I found it funny, quaint and uplifting. The only negative is that there are minor errors, but these do not take away from the story.
