I had had this one on my to-read list for quite some time now. I finally had the time to sit and read it. King Minos!! Egyptian curses and opening unknown coffins. Learning about the Greek involvement in Egypt!! AWESOME, right? Not so much. I thought I was going to be getting some great Egyptian and Greek god stuff going on, and what did I get? ANOTHER FREAKING VAMPIRE BOOK. I'm so tired of vampires at this point I could scream, and the synopsis on this book leads you to believe that this will be something other than the norm. It isn't. Unfortunately, the storytelling is poorly done, the characters are flat, and the editing is atrocious.

The beginning, if you can stomach the lack of proper editing, was promising for the first 4 pages, and then after that, it got harder to read. As you went on, it got worse. The idea behind Viktor was pretty cool. He was only part vamp. But I think that was one of the most interesting part of his whole personality. He was unimaginative, and the relationships were predictable. I wanted to like this, I really did... but I just couldn't.… (altro)
