Wracked with grief over the tragic loss of his daughter, widowed father Paul Johnson, sets out on a mission of revenge. Many people may have thought about seeking vengeance and this idea is examined in ‘bloody’ detail in ‘Beware the Ides of Justice’. This payback is on a level that far outweighs anything many would consider. More than one event will have you holding your breath and the ingenuity shown by the main character is that of a driven man. Unlikely allies and dangerous enemies make this a must read for those who like suspense and thrills. Patience will be required to read and enjoy ‘Beware the Ides of Justice’. Tomlinson struggled with dyslexia during his early life, and this may have contributed to the difficulty experienced reading the novel due to many grammatical and structural errors in the text. However, had Tomlinson been born in the age of oral storytelling and travelling bards, he would have been celebrated and sought after. Pros
• I liked the plot
• I received the book for free as part of the Early Reviewers program

Cons
• Not a complete book but more of an outline
• Dialogue between characters choppy
• Needs a lot of editing

All in all, this book needs a lot of work before it’s buyable.

This story could have been much better if I wasn’t SO distracted by the horrible editing. It was almost like I was reading only one side of a VERY long text messaging conversation. I may be interested in reading it again in the future after some serious editing.
After suffering a tragic loss, one man, and a group of like-minded individuals decide to get revenge on some of those who have caused their pain. It was interesting to see what they did and how they went about their reconnaissance missions.… (altro)

Very poor. Another exercise of drafting a book that isn't yet ready to be a full novel. It's just lines of overview telling you what the plot would have been if the author had got around to writing it properly, fleshing out the characters, changing to an active voice etc. Exposition has a place to play in any well crafted novel, but can't be the entirety.

A parent loses a child to an accident - a dramatic enough event that requires tract and dignity utterly missing from here. The grieving father takes matters into his own hands, which was too as far as I was interested to read, very trite predictable and poor.… (altro)
