Gypsey Teague

I enjoyed this book. The book moved along well with plenty of action. The steampunk element was enjoyable. The characters were not flat but I felt they could have used more development.

For me the real problem with the book was that it felt hurried as if the author was in a rush to get finished. For instance, some paragraphs had two completely different subjects with no connection to each other. Some of the word usage seem a little unusual to me but thankfully synonyms were not in evidence. I felt that the formatting could have been a bit better with no indentation at the start of each paragraph. That may be a personal choice of the author but I think could be confusing.

The faults that I found were not really serious with the rushed feeling being the worst but that is a personal reaction and may not affect others. The book is worth reading if you like steampunk. I recommend this book for those who like the genre.… (altro)
