Sam Taylor is the author of the poetry collection Body of the World, a finalist for ForeWord Reviews Book of the Year. He has received the Amy Lowell Traveling Scholarship, the Dobie Paisano Fellowship, the James Michener Fellowship, and fellowship residencies from Yaddo and the Vermont Studio mostra altro Center, among other honors. Breve biografia: A graduate of Swarthmore College and former Michener Fellow in the MFA Program at University of Texas, his poems have appeared in numerous publications, and received the Florida Review Editor's Poetry 2002 Poetry Prize. He splits his time teaching at UNM-Taos and caretaking for a snowbound wilderness refuge.
