Nice range of photographs - the movie descriptions jumped around and felt incomplete and scattered.

A chronological look at the career of Ralph Richardson through photographs of his film and theatre performances. Richardson was one of the big stars of British theatre in the 20th Century, along with John Giegud and Lawrence Olivier; both men talk glowingly in this book about working with Richardson. This is a professional retrospective only, published to coincide with his 80th birthday and is perhaps a liitle too narrow-cast and reverential. But within it's own limitations is very comprehensive.
