Junjiro Takakusu

Dr. Takakusu's only major work in English. Basic Buddhist terms are in English, Chinese, Sanskrit and index gives the diacritical marks of Pali and Sanskrit. He presents buddhist philosophy in a sequence of the systemization of the different schools of thought starting with Vasubandhu. He presented this summation of his lifetime study of Buddhist philosophy at the East-West Philosopher's Conference at the University of Hawaii where he delivered a series of lectures, summer 1939.
