SUMMARY/EVALUATION:
Because we live in Westminster, and my husband lived there through much of his childhood/school years, and had not heard of this case, while working at Chapman University in 2006, my husband and I went to a Chapman event where several of the plaintiffs from this case came and talked about their ordeal. (Cool. The back of the book actually mentions this event.) When the postage stamp came out commemorating the case, my husband was probably first in line to buy a sheet, as well as a poster of it. And then there was even a subsequent event at the Aerospace Corporation where he works that he attended. So, when I spotted this book at the Newport Beach Friends of the Library book sale, I snatched it up for him . . .but then had to read it myself first. I’m sort of greedy that way.… (altro)
