I'm a wedding photographer who's moved into video over the last couple of years. This book really helped me design shots and tell better stories. It's full of great ideas-- some I thought I knew but had forgotten, and some presented in different and much more interesting ways. Pretty funny and easy to read. Highly recommended.
For the beginner who doesn't know any better and for the pro who does but is getting sloppy, this book is a very useful way to improve your video content. The main emphasis is on remembering that audiences always have options and are motivated to stop watching, and you ignore their wants and needs at your peril (or at least your video's peril). Includes specific exercises to help you "see" things differently. Definitely a recommended read for anyone who wants to create videos that are actually watched!… (altro)
