Outward Sign and Inward Grace: The Place of… di Rob L. Staples
A fantastic book. This is a great explanation of the history and role of the sacraments from a Wesleyan perspective. Staples graciously interacts with other traditions. I came away from it with a new and profound respect for the rituals, that are more than mere rituals.
