Adult Reader Reaction: At first I wasn't sure what to do with this book. It is definitely not for preschoolers, but it isn't a "collector's item" either. The more I read, though, the more I saw an elementary-aged child (most likely boy) reading the snippets and exploring the irony of the comic-like illustrations (like "Silver Medal" flour.

Pros: Young and developing readers will enjoy this off-the-wall alphabet book.

This is a great book because it will make the reader laugh. A child may truly grasp the concept of eah letter on a more personal level after reading this book. My only criticism is that it does not aim to expend the child's vocabulary in an intelligent kind of way. That being said, it is important to keep things light and keep the children laughing.
