The critics have been whining for Regina Spektor to grow up ever since she became famous. I hope they are satisfied. Here is an album of imaginative and profound songs with no dolphin sounds or bad Italian accents. I must say I am worried about her mental health a little for she is not in a good mood, probably for the same reasons that no one else is. I loved that last song, what a sweet way to close an album.½

This may be the most avant-garde album I own. It is also my favorite album to play while I drive long hours on the Interstate. Each song is brillant, different, original. "Us" and "Chemo Limo" are my favorite songs of hers.

She maintains her high standards, though nothing here is as good as "Us."½

Regina goes a little mainstream without betraying her muse. Many great songs.½
