Killer Road di Soundwalk Collective
I've shelved this as a covers album but, well, it's not really that. Soundwalk Collective and Jessie Paris Smith have taken Nico's songs as inspiration for an aural meditation on her life and death. Patti Smith's half-intoned/half-sung whispered lines of Nico's lyrics are delivered as poetry as, I think, only she could. It's beautiful and sad.
