Frank Smythe explored the Garhwal Himalayas and found the Bhyundar Valley, secluded and protected from the elements, it was a veritable paradise of wild plants and flowers.
Vacuous nonsense cobbled together to fulfill a publishing contract. My collection would not be complete without it.
A charming period piece - more of a post war advertisement for ski holidays in Switzerland than a climbing book though.
