This volume is quite slim at around 130 pages but still manages to give very comprhensive coverage of the various railway lines built in the very rural county of Herefordshire between the start of railways in the mid-19th century and the end of steam in the 1960s. A very full selection of photos with commentary on each is prefaced with a short chapter introductions setting out the history of the line concerned. For anyone interested in this subject, or just wanting a glimpse of how things used to be, this is a good book.… (altro)
