I have never been one who easily can take a Bible verse and apply it to everyday life--nor do I often enjoy reading a book where the Bible passage is sprinkled in with the story or lesson. I usually feel that it interrupts the flow to make me read and ponder what's in it instead of allowing me to keep reading what the author has written.

Despite that, I enjoyed this book. I can relate to the caffeinated author (or wanting to be caffeinated author). I did have some harder times with some of the essays that focused more on parenting--I'm not a parent and not likely to be one at this stage of life.
