Wow! I really enjoyed this book. It truly pulled on Caitlin and Gio's relationship. Caitlin went through getting married, starting an Ambassadorship, becoming a parent. She was basically dealing with becoming an adult and dealing with those issues that life can through at us, only more. I felt sorry for her because it felt like she had so much piled on top of her. Gio just wanted to love and take care of her. She would tend to push him away. I love how Illy helped her to deal with those issues after a catastrophic event. This book is intense, a little traumatic in parts but also very good. I couldn't put it down. I was in it for the long haul. Life kept getting in my way but I"d pick up the story again. I did love catching up with familiar faces. I do have to say that as for Francesca, I go with Gio's vote. I can't wait for the next book to see where here new position takes her. New things are still in store for Gio and Caitlin and I can't wait.… (altro)

Told mostly from Freya's POV, this did not fail to disappoint. lots of action. Cam, Freya, Luca, Illy, Sorcha, Di and the others are just trying to live a quiet life on their island but Clava and Auckland just won't have it. So many secrets coming to life. Freya has grown so much and shown how strong and brave she can be. She is forced to go on several heroic rescues. Old enemies pop back into the picture bring trouble and tragedy. The characters bring their personalities to life again even brighter and more realistic that in previous books. Illy, Sorcha, and Freya have just ripped my heart out with the emotional roller coasters they have been on. I have felt it with them. The author again does such a phenomenal job of taking subplots and intertwining them to go together. That just doesn't happen often. This has become a series that I eagerly await the next installments.… (altro)

Cam has been through hell up to this point. He has suffered tragedy, loss and endless drama and surprises. Reunited with his first wife, Freya, and their children, Cam embarks on a journey for closure on how his second wife, Lae, died. Talk about Pandora’s box, many secrets of the geodome societies come to light. Everywhere you turn there are secrets. Cam is completely overwhelmed by this. There are so many decisions to be made by him and by the community he lives with. This book has not disappointed me at all. The final book in the antipodes series, the author has woven the characters together nicely. You can easily feel them and what they are feeling. The plot ran fairly smooth. I did get lost a couple of times but that smoothed out as I went along. Definitely a series you have to try.… (altro)
