M. David Sills, DMiss, PhD, is professor of Christian missions and cultural anthropology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He joined Southern Seminary after serving as a missionary in Ecuador among the Highland Quichua people and as president and professor at the Ecuadorian Baptist mostra altro Theological Seminary.
