I saw the cover of this book I wanted it. I read the blurb and that sealed the deal. I am delighted that I read it and I will be reading more books by Diana Sheridan. Cherry Pickers is a beguiling book that I completed in one sitting.

Boy Toy Troy —I believe this was my most favorite of the three stories. The first few pages really stuck with me and had me thinking long after I put the book down. I connected very easily with both of the main characters. They seemed to have such an immediate and easy bond with each other. I was swept along so smoothly and was so enthralled with their tale I felt disappointed when it was over.

Cherry-Flavored Sausage —This story was well written; the characters and story line seemed well rounded and complete. Overall the characters were a little harder for me to relate to and the interaction between them was not very tender. I can’t say that I really enjoyed this tale. The content is just a little harsh for me, although towards the end I was starting to think that if this was a full length novel, I may have had a chance to get to know them better and that may won me over.

Tennis Balls and Boy Balls—This was a fun and fast tale of how a man finally finds a way to end his lonely nights. I liked how the characters come together in this one. The meeting didn’t seem contrived or forced. Like the first story this one was not exactly romance but it did have less of an edge to it. I was a little surprised by this story because I am not sure this one exactly fits the “cherry” description but I enjoyed anyway.

Overall I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys short stories. They are lite on romance, quick in introductions.… (altro)
