Ricky Van Shelton has created this second book in a series about Quaker the duck and his expeditions. In this book Quaker mets Mrs. Moo. The story deals with the fact that it is not nice to scare anyone and that it is not fun to hurt anyone.

I love this series of books. They are very comical while portraying an important message. Children really seem to enjoy them as well.

I would use this book to teach children how to treat others, as a comical story when learning about ducks, and also when studying about authors (the author of this book is also a singer).… (altro)

This book is really cute and funny. It teaches you to just be yourself. It is a good lesson to learn, so you could read this at any time in your classroom. It also had great pictures. You could have your students make or draw a duck and say what makes it unique.
