The author made a few interesting connections, but much of his argument (heavily doctrinaire) was forced and, like the solar cycle and the psychic events he references, repetitive. His text was grotesquely pimpled with exclamation marks; I would have thought a Cornell editor might have weeded a score or so of them out.
