Published in 1988 and therefore concentrating on film-based photography, this book is still an excellent concise guide to the art of copying photos from various sources and to creating photographs that convey the historical / genealogical information required. There are also chapters on the use of photocopiers, on taking photos of living people (for future genealogists) and on the general usefulness of cameras in genealogy.
