Well written book that takes the reader thru the story of the French resistance. Focussed on the leadership, the author navigates what can be confusing territory of all the different cells that made up the (competing at times) resistance movement. The Americans get skewered for failing to back de Gaulle exclusively. The constant behind the scenes wrangling that went on must have been an absolute trial on all the various participants. Worthwhile and recommended reading.
