William J. Schnute

This was originally published in 2000. I believe that some of the information on glues, stains, et sim, is probably outdated. The rest of the book is very uneven. It is difficult to discern details in the black & white photos. (The color photos are generally quite good and show off Schnute's work much better.) The instructional text is, sadly, rather limited and hampered by the bad B&W photos. For me, this provides aspirational design ideas more than anything useful as a beginning carver.… (altro)
