I thought that the dialogue was also too emotional; not every sentence needs to be at 100% emotional intensity. They can just have a conversation where they get to know each other. I also didn't like that the author felt it necessary to switch and write a paragraph about every pack member's emotions; it made me feel like I was in an emotion pinball machine. I genuinely started to wonder if the book was even going to focus on a main pair.… (altro)
