- Breve biografia
- Charles Manners, 6th Duke of Rutland, was styled Marquess of Granby before 1857. He was a Conservative politician who also served as a Lord of the Bedchamber to Albert, the Prince Consort (Queen Victoria's husband) from 1843 to 1846. He was appointed Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire, succeeding his father. As he was unmarried and died without children, the dukedom passed to his brother John.
